People with the above conditions.......arthritis also, often have stiffness and pain in their joints, tendons and muscles. I have chronic lyme disease and used to have mostly the neurological problems...but more recently I have acquired the pain and stiffness issues.
I have been trying bee venom ointment(Venex) for a week now and am very excited at the improvement. It may be that the ointment will have to be used continually but maybe there will be an accumulative effect. I also just ordered a type of manuka honey called Actiflex. This also has bee venom in it but you take it orally. It is supposed to also help with the pain issues. From what I understand....you can find out more at the links below.....there is a substance in venom called mellitin. The Rocky Mountain Lab studied this substance a bit and found that it immobilized lyme disease spirochetes. It also helps stimulate the body's immune system and is supposed to have 10 to 100 times the anti-inflammatory capability...over cortisone

Manuka Honey has anti-inflammatory properties that are very effective in relieving pain. Manuka Honey has the ability to diffuse into the skin, getting to affected areas.
