"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." Isaiah 26: 3

To me this means that while we need to be aware of what is going on around us and to inform others when necessary, we also need to spend time seeking and dwelling in God's presence. Then we experience fullfillment. Sometimes it's difficult to find a balance but this is essential if one wants to find true peace

When we desire to know and feel God's presence, instead of seeking material gain...this is the key to harmonious living. The Bible tells us " And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God (seek spiritual Truth) and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12

When I begin to feel dragged under by the media and concerns of the world, I say to's time to be still and commune with God. This never fails to bring release, comfort and guidance. However, my goal is to dwell in this Presence more consistently. The 91st Psalm assures us that if we dwell in this "Secret Place of the Most High", we shall be protected.

The media (mortal mind or error) is trying to cause fear for a reason. The purpose is to get us to believe that evil has more power or presence than God Good. Don't believe it!
