CHRONIC LYME DISEASE & SUCCESSIVE INFECTION

While watching the video below, ask yourself why in the past few decades are we experiencing such an upsurge in autoimmune disease. The speaker below talks about successive infection and how one infection can lead to immune suppression which then may make the body more susceptible to subsequent infections. Autoimmune disease may not be the body fighting itself but it may be the body fighting unidentified microbes. This has been hypothesized before.

Also....think about why our bodies are becoming incapable of fighting these infections. Has our soil in which we grow our food become so impoverished that it is missing some of the vital elements which support life...such as iodine, magnesium..etc? Many of these elements are needed for immune function. Our diets are heavily processed and can depress immunity. While the video below expresses the cause of illness better than auoimmunity, I feel we still need to go deeper. Please see the following link which talks about the cellular theory of diseaase (Bechamp) versus the germ theory (Pasteur). http://tinyurl.com/28nzmzt   It is crucial in understanding why our bodies cannot live symbiotically with all of these pathogens. The pharmaceutical corporations will continue to modify their theories to boost the sale of drugs. They are in the business to make profits....which is understandable. This is why it is up to the citizen to do their own research as to why our bodies are not handling the pathogens acceptably. The Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation  www.ppnf.org also has many of the answers to these questions. There is no magic pill. Instead we need to understand the real true basis for disease.

  1. What people want to know is....what are the treatments; prolonged antibiotic intake?
I doubt the medical community will pay any heed to this condition...why would it want to shoot itself in the foot.
As in ALL ailments(symptoms), money and greed are the real cause.

  2. I found out what pushed my immune system over the edge was living in a brand new studio rental where the shower was installed wrong and leaked into the walls. Then the hot water heater blew up and the wall to wall carpet was not removed after it flooded. Slum landlords don't care about health.

I had Lyme disease and cos undiagnosed before this happened but mold exposure was the straw that broke the camels back. I think past and present mold exposure is a big one for many of us with Lyme disease. Dr. Klinghardt mentions this as well in on one of his DVDs. It is important to keep detoxing especially while treating. Many LLMDs neglect this fact and do not teach people how to detox and use binders. You can't just keep taking abx and killing bugs without doing something about getting the die off/herx toxins out.

    Alkalizing is important as well.

I think many people are living in moldly homes due to plumbing leaks or bad geographic stress or due to poor building practices and bad structures and because people can't see the mold they think it is not there. Mold spores are in the air in all homes and should be tested for. People go into denial over mold just like they go into denial that Lyme disease and Bartonella are sexually transmitted. Bartonella is found in dog saliva that should be a hint.

Not practicing safe sex just passes mutated strains back and forth of lab made diseases. It also passes strains of candida back and forth and so does kissing. Mycoplasmas are spread through kissing as well.

  3. The first poster hit the nail on the head. The drug companies only want to treat the symptoms and not the cause.

I also agree that mold can play a very large role in Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses. One thing I noticed with myself is that after I became sick with Lyme and coinfections...I was more sensitive to mold and chemical smells.

Much more research should be done in the area of transmission of Lyme. Again, preventing disease does not make money. Thankyou both for your input!

  4. Wow Margie -- a chill just went through me...I could never put 2 and 2 together as to why I have such overwhelming autoimmune manifestations, yet my bloodwork clearly shows immune deficiency. The body fighting unidentified microbes -- very frightening, and very very plausible too.
